INVENTARIO DE ESTANDARES ESTADÍSTICOS INTERNACIONALES (EEI)

Objetivos:

  • Reunir en una sola base de datos los EEI clasificados en:
    • Conceptos y Definiciones
    • Clasificaciones
    • Metodologías y Procedimientos
    • Fuentes de Datos
    • Indicadores
  • Usar un modelo de metadatos para sistematizar los EEI y presentar su información en una forma unificada.
  • Construir un portal de entrada que facilite el acceso a los diferentes recursos de información que contienen los EEI.


Consideraciones:

  • Las Naciones Unidas se han hecho cargo de este inventario, favor de consultar el Global Inventory of Statistical Standards, en la dirección electrónica: http://unstats.un.org/unsd/iiss/
  • Los EEI están siendo desarrollados y/o actualizados constantemente por los Organismos Internacionales. La base de datos no contiene todos los EEI ni en todos los casos la última versión.
  • Las ligas de internet (URLs), incluidas en la base de datos, pueden no funcionar correctamente por cambios en los sitios web de los organismos internacionales.
  • Los EEI fueron inicialmente traducidos al idioma Español y han sido actualizados continuamente en la medida de lo posible.
  • La versión en inglés corresponde a la versión del Inventario en 2008, por lo que la información contenida en las fichas técnicas puede no ser la misma en ambos idiomas.

INVENTORY ON INTERNATIONAL STATISTICAL STANDARDS (ISS)

Objectives:

  • To compile a database of ISS by type of standard:
    • Concepts and Definitions
    • Classifications
    • Methods and Procedures
    • Data Sources
    • Indicators
  • To use a metadata model to organize the ISS and to present their information in a unified way.
  • To build a web-portal covering different statistical themes that facilitates access to the ISS's information resources.


Considerations:

  • United Nations is already in charge of the inventory. For reference please review Global Inventory of Statistical Standards at URL: http://unstats.un.org/unsd/iiss/
  • ISS are continuously developed and/or updated by international organizations. The Database does not contain all the ISS nor always have the latest version
  • The internet links to the information sources, included in the Database, could not be working correctly due to changes in the web sites of international organizations.
  • ISS were originally translated into Spanish language and updated continuously as possible.
  • The English version corresponds to the 2008 inventory. For this reason, the information available in Spanish and English might be slightly different.
